Everything that's made him the world's most celebrated investor lines up with what we've learned about the tendencies of female investors.

One big difference between Warren Buffett and many other investors is, in a word, patience.
It's the common thread throughout the 87-year-old billionaire's career, just as it was in his letter this year to Berkshire Hathaway Inc.'s investors. The missive Buffett released Saturday was atypically brief and a bit boring, partly because he had no major deal to crow about this time. While I'm sure the limelight-loving investor wishes he had a splashy acquisition to tout that could put Berkshire's ever-expanding war chest to good use, he said he won't succumb to the "purchasing frenzy" that's cajoled other CEOs into overpaying for deals. For him, it's worth waiting for a bargain.
